As I mentioned briefly the other day, our friend Mark Keam, won the primary for the Virginia House of Delegates (35th District).  He won by over 50% in each precinct (there were four people running in the primary).

Time to part-ee!  Okay, we are going to pop in at least.

doubleplus  deserves it.  I am armed with meds.

Call on his cell to reach us (I am deaf as a doornail and won't hear anything on a phone).

And doubleplus is still at the polling place verifying and counting votes.

It went well - no major issues at our location - but everyone in our neighborhood is pretty mellow about politics (3 flavors of signs: Obama, McCain and Paul and no vandalism).  Okay, just one Ron Paul sign, but still, I am all for democracy in all its flavors!

Virginia has been overwhelmed by voter registration and is desperately short on poll workers for election day. You will be paid to work as a poll worker on Election Day, and can also help ensure that every person's right to vote is protected!
